Meet Julia

founder story

After years building a successful career, Julia shifted into her most important role as full time Mom after the arrival of her daughter Dorie. During her tenure at home, she developed a deep appreciation for the adventure of parenting and the joy of making even the smallest things feel special.

In the spring of 2020 while preparing for the arrival of her son Jordan, she began dreaming up the idea of Danrie. There were so many sites curating special pieces for women, why was no one doing this for kids?

In 2022 she took a leap of faith and bet on herself to launch Danrie. Traveling the world to curate the most exceptional clothes, toys and accessories for Danrie (and her own kids) will always be her favorite part of the job!

Founder & CEO

Caroline is Virginia-born but calls the Lower East Side of Manhattan home. She is on the buying + merchandising team but doubles as Danrie gift-wrapper extraordinaire. In her free time, Caroline loves touring the city for the best desserts NYC has to offer — if you have any chocolate chip cookie recs send ‘em her way!

Caroline Mannon

Director of Buying & Merchandising

Jaimie works on all things digital marketing & ecommerce here at Danrie, which stems from her extensive experience in online shopping. She’s also incredibly skilled at watching Netflix, and sitting on a beach. Both of which she’s likely doing with her dog, Moose.

VP of Ecommerce

Kerry is a Brooklyn-born native who now lives in Queens with her husband James, her sons RJ & Brenainn and their dog, Roxie. Kerry loves a good picnic in the park and also enjoys daily NYT mini crossword competitions with her family.

Kerry Gaffney-Flores

Chief of Staff

Liz lives in Manhattan with her husband, Cooper, and their son Parker. Aside from searching far and wide to bring truly special items to Danrie, you can generally find her watching Law & Order while scouring the internet shopping for her own closet.

Liz Dickinson

VP of Merchandising

Michaela graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BS in Fashion Business Management. At Danrie, she works across the e-commerce team, from curating the site to supporting digital strategy and growth. Outside of work, she’s usually playing beach volleyball, singing along (loudly) to her headphones, or cheering on the Rangers.
